This reservoir, with the area of 570 hectares has a round shape and is between the lakes Lisna and Asveyskaye. A special feature of the lake is the presence of flat, shelving shores, overgrown with bushes and trees. The border with the Russian Federation is along its Northern part, on the Western part the lake shares borders with meadows.
The lake Belaye-Katlyarova belongs to shallow reservoirs, it warms up well during the summer period that contributes to the growth of algae. Exposed banks make possible mixing of water and its saturation with oxygen.
All this creates excellent conditions for inhabitation of various species of fish such as: redeye, bream, tench, roach, perch, pike, silver bream, carp, crucian carp and goldfish, catfish, bleak. Real followers of fishing could not withstand the possibility to a fish burbot, because this representative of the codfishes is rarely found in Belarusian waters.
On the banks of the lake Belaye-Katlyarova you can see a picturesque tangle of white water lily. This plant is listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus. Untouched nature creates excellent conditions for unhasting promenades, and it is a real pleasure to swim in warm and pure water.
