The lake Izubrytsa is situated not far from the modern comfortable hotel Izubrytsa, several vip-cottages, the office of the hunting entity and Scientific and Practical Center for Wildlife Resources Management Krasny Bor.
A small picturesque lake in the area of 128 hectares is surrounded by forest. Low sandy banks are partially waterlogged.
Due to the shallow depth (only a few meters), water warms up during warm weather and this causes the growth of lush coastal and benthic vegetation.
It is a rich source of food for herbivorous fish, including crucian carp and golden carp, common carp, roach, ench and others.
Their abundance attracts not only big pickerels and fish hawks but also numerous fans of fishing. The fishing on the lake Izubrytsa is paid (40 rubles per day).
