Hoofed mammals of different species are the main hunting animals of our estate. We deny hunted hunting. Therefore, hoofed mammals hunting here are performed exclusively individual according to classical scenarios: using approach and alluring.
If we talk about hoofed mammals’ species, so without false modesty we can admit: such their species diversity, as in Krasny Bor Hunting Estate, nowhere else you will find in Belarus. Apart from traditional elks, red deer and roes, in our estate, there is also a fairly large population of fallow deer and moufflons that live and flourish in our lands.
Herd of deer are constantly improved by an influx of new blood, highly outline sires are bought within other entities, more often abroad. All this provides population growth, excellent health of animal units and, especially important for hunters, trophies of excellent quality.
Elk is also considered the “basic” beast of Krasny Bor forest preserves, it prefers fenlands and does not compete with deer and other hoofed mammals. Elk trophies from Krasny Bor Hunting Estate more often than not take prizes at different hunting expositions.
Roe deer are inconsiderable in number, but their hunting is productive – this is the merit of huntsmen’ staff – roe deer trophies have good characteristics.
Moufflon hunting is carried out only in open-air cage. It has a large area (1386 hectares), and the hunting there does not differ from the hunting in other entities, the role of the open-air cage is to prevent the spread of species alien to species of Belarusian nature.
